 An American women’s historian with an interest in maritime history\, she 
 will discuss her book\, The Pirate’s Wife: The Remarkable True Story of 
 Sarah Kidd. The non-fiction book tells tales of the Golden Age of Piracy in 
 17th and 18th century colonial America. Sarah Kidd acted as an accomplice 
 and a defender of her swashbuckling husband\, yet her resourcefulness and 
 resilience has been forgotten in history.\n\nFree and open to all.
