DESCRIPTION:It's the holiday season! Explore it though the lens of a 
 different culture. This month's book is An Anishinaabe Christmas by Wab 
 Kinew.\n\n"An Anishinaabe family heads to the reservation to visit the 
 baby's grandparents for Christmas. A story about combining Western and 
 indigenous celebrations\, this book is shared in the hopes of bringing 
 people together to understand and feel good about the Anishinaabe way\, 
 however . . . [one chooses] to live it."\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\nOur StoryWalk® 
 is a self-guided reading adventure that is available everyday for all ages. 
 Pages of a picture book are displayed in frames on a trail around the 
 perimeter of the lawn at Weaver Library. The goal of the StoryWalk® is to 
 increase children’s interest in books and reading while encouraging 
 healthy outdoor activity for all ages\, and reconnecting children and 
 adults to nature. To date\, StoryWalks® have been installed in 50 states 
 and 13 countries\, including Bermuda\, Canada\, England\, Germany\, 
 Malaysia\, Pakistan\, Russia\, South Korea.\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n
