Teen D&D Adventure Camp

Teen D&D Adventure Camp In-Person

This four-week camp guides participants through the basics of the Dungeons & Dragons Role-playing game. At the end of this weekly program, attendees will have learned how to create their own character, level-up, design an adventure, and run their own Dungeons & Dragons Game.
All attendees take home with a printed outline of program notes, an Adventure Design companion sheet, and a complete set of dice with a drawstring bag.
Week 1 - Character Building
Participants are instructed on how to create their own fantasy character. Building stats, and skills, writing a background, and selecting armor, weapons, and spells.
Week 2 - Adventure!
Participants select one of the characters they created and form a party. The Dungeon Master will then take their characters on a complete original adventure. Fight monsters, face danger, and loot for treasure!
Week 3 - Leveling and Shopping
Participants are guided through the process of leveling their characters to gain new skills and abilities. The Dungeon Master will then run a short session where players can spend their hard earned gold and learn about other adventures available in the Ocean State Libraries Catalog.
Week 4 - How to run your own Adventure!
Participants are instructed on how to create and run their own Dungeons & Dragons Adventure. Design a Dungeon with traps and treasure, fill it with monsters and learn the secrets of the game to become a Dungeon Master yourself!
