Painting Series: Salt Painting

Painting Series: Salt Painting In-Person

For ages 5-9. Registration required.

A workshop where kids draw with glue, sprinkle salt over their designs, and then watch vibrant watercolors flow through the salty lines. It's a beautiful, hands-on process that teaches color blending and texture exploration.

Taught by local RI resident Goli Mohtajolfazl.

Golrokh (Goli) Fazl was born and raised in Iran. She loves morning tea, earthworms, tiny wildflowers, lonely clouds, the smell of fresh bread, the sound of thunderstorms, the color yellow, her grandma’s hands, and watching her child play.

She recently earned her BFA in Ceramics from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and holds an MFA in Illustration from the School of Fine Arts at Tehran University.
