Nowruz Is Around the Corner: A Persian Storytime & Craft with Goli In-Person
Nowruz is an Iranian celebration that signifies the arrival of spring, symbolizing renewal and hope for the new year. We honor this occasion by setting up a Haft-Sin table, adorned with seven symbolic items that invite health, joy, love, and prosperity. Surrounded by our loved ones, we embrace the warmth of their presence, ensuring that love and support accompany us throughout the year ahead.
Now, just five days before Nowruz, we would love for you to join us in celebrating this beautiful occasion! Let's have fun reading a story in both Persian and English, dancing to joyful Persian children's music, and creating Sabze (wheat) sprouts together. We can watch them grow at home and discover the magic of life emerging from a tiny seed.
I, Goli—a mom and an Iranian children's book illustrator—will proudly be your host on March 15th. This program is designed for kids ages 0-6 and promises a fun and enriching experience for all!
